It looks like the ruling govt don't like to see our country peacefully. Soon after introducing income tax law, increase for electricity bill tariff has been passed by parliament. More and more complains from ordinary people surfaced and media highlight the potential consequence due to newly release law. The govt staffs might have a reason to find themselves cool as their salaries will be increased by another 20,000Ks from next month. At the same time, corruption investigation commission was formed by president. The commission is frequently formed and useless for people. The core intention for doing that is just to drag the case until people forget about it. Our people have been enough experience on bad and no longer interest in president and he cabinet minsters. Most recent definition of corruption is quite funny, you know. The present worth more than 300,000Ks will be considered corrupted item by president. A lot of cartoons and articles relate to that immediately come out to show their displeasure. You know what is the basis salary for factory workers? It is about 50,000Ks and it say a lot to the definition of 300k matter.
Yesterday, there was riot in Rakhine capital, Sittway. The news say one female NGO staff down the religious flag and worn as skirt that prompt resident to become angry and the mob started to destroy UN agencies and NGO's houses and offices. The police tried to disperse the mob by shooting at sky. Unfortunately a little girl was shot dead and it is going to be another difficult case. The rule of law is long overdue issue and the govt is ignoring people's calling. The upcoming census drew some divide between our ethnics and govt. Whatever the govt do, there are controversy somewhere. I wonder what the advisers are doing with president. The law makers are failing to stop the adverse law that will beat our people. The military leaders keep saying our army continue to involve in Myanmar's politic for secure transition. Regardless of reason, country's democratizing will be affected as long as army not going their camp leaving the politic at the hand of people's leader.
