USWA, Myanmar's another big headache

CHINA always claims that Myanmar and China have long enjoying the brotherly relationship in the long history back. Though there are much written history proofing China's invasion to our nation, surprisingly our military leaders keep agreeing with their statement. Myanmar was not inferior to its far bigger country when it got independence on 1948. Most of Chinese migrants came to Myanmar for better future suggest my thinking is true and correct. Unfortunately, our military leaders dearly needs Chinese Vito power whenever it need to be protected from UN security council's action. For that, there might have agreed to pay back on whatever China wants from our land.

I am shocked to learn the local news saying that China has replaced local born rebel leaders with China born ones. It is too much for us to swallow if the news is true and correct. The authority has to answer. If China is a good friend as it always said to us, the question is why they are providing weapons to ethnic rivals? Nobody answer from both sides while there are a lot of evidence, at one point, even high tech weapon like helicopter and missiles to Wa Army which is the strongest rival on the land of Myanmar. The Wa army is formed of mostly ethnic Chinese and heavily rely on China. Their troops are being trained by China military intelligent. There were so many reports from freelance reporters outside Myanmar. We are extremely concern about USWA which is now asking the govt to promote them to a state level. What else going to be their demand? What a dare wish by a rival. Now they are refusing to sign on nationwide peace treaty and they seem patriot to China.

Unidentified source said China is asking Myanmar to allow them to use USWA troops for the security of their oil&gas trans-border pipeline. It is clearly broken our national sovereignty and our army seem distraught with China's increasing assertive. The current crisis on Ukraine remind us what could happen on our land sooner or later. Just like Russia gave the world reason for their intrusion, China could repeat of history by citing Russia. What UN can do when Russia clearly broke the international law? Almost nothing but warning through diplomatic channels because Russia is superpower. We have to take lesson from Russia-Ukraine-Crimea case. Our leaders have to be wise enough to avoid the trap made by our bully minded China. Otherwise our nation is going to be fall into huge danger of China. I guess to follow Philippine's way to approach US to counter-balance China's assertive. However my dream can be achieved only the people's government win the election in 2015. Otherwise quasi-govt won't listen to its people and will silent on abusive Chinese. Wish Myanmar able to have a competent leader with brain in upcoming GE2015.
