YESTERDAY was final day for Miss International 2012 show. In past, it was nothing but an event for our people. However, this year competition has drawn our attention due to resuming our country's representative after absent for more than 50 years. There were 68 beauty from the countries across the world. As a new comer, we can't expect a lot from our representative beauty. With the help of our people, she made a good kick start by winning two titles yesterday. What a great achievement for her and for country? She is not in the list of final 15 beauty. But still she can walk off stage with her head at high because she will bring home two titles, Miss Internet and Popular Choice Award. Of course something is better than nothing despite main priority is not getting minor titles. We all have to welcome her land home for her tirelessly effort to make our people and country proud. I am sure it is not an easy task for her.
What make me more surprise is the name of her winning title, Miss Internet. In fact, our country has very poor infra-structure for internet. Very less ratio of people only can access internet nowadays. A bit better than past time in term of internet speed under newly civilian government. It show how much our people's desire have been toward internet. It might have shown our authority what our people have intended to do. Even with very limited access, our people can effort to vote our representative winning titles for our country. No matter who does when it come for the image of our country. Our people will automatically come unite and create powerful that goes and get objective. I'm very sure, the international communities also would surprise to learn Myanmar's representative take Miss Internet title home because Myanmar has reputation with her very poor internet access. Anyway, it is always feeling good to be winning side. Thanks all for making this mission success. At least, this event again highlight the return of Myanmar towards international stage following most recent ASSK's showdown across Europe & US tour.
