Burmese Traitor

DURING my working time in Malaysia, there was a traitor among Shwe(Myanmar) Workers. By the time I arrive in Malaysia, he had been working with that company for about 3 to 5 years and relatively senior to other myanmar workers including me. He came to this company as a general worker and he grow step by step and he already became a restaurant manager when I arrive to the same company. His salary is unbelievable for a myanmar workers and he is a favourite man of our lady boss. He got a several good facilities such as OT, allowance, accomodation, car, camera, hand phone, etc. You would want to say that no wonder he became a burmese traitor. His advantage is can speak well both in Malaysia and English. He is a myanmar geologist and every myanmar workers who are working in this company hate him very much due to his concern in all counselling.

Since he can able to use postpaid card phone and of course his major duty is to report whatever myanmar workers do both in work and hostel. So we, all myanmar workers, need to take care him every time and would remind each other if he is around us. He seems doesn't mind to be outraged by his fellow citizens. How much does his behavior bad? When the boss likes somebody for his hardworking, and think of increasing his wages, he'll suggest not to raise and take credit by explaining about the bad things/situation of myanmar. Sometime his explaination will approach through current exchange rate by calculating. We don't want to let employer know the true information about exchange rate and all bad things in Myanmar. But he'll explore and disclose that in time.

He'll never hesitate to report anytime if he assume is good enough to report. They include as follow:
1) when we are cooking a lot at hostel, he'll report on we're wasting water& electricity
2) when we querrel each other for some matter, he'll inform for we're fighting
3) when we are playing cards at hostel, he'll inform we're gambling
4) when we are bringing in some friends for a while, he'll infrom we welcome illegal workers
5) when we are opening music loudly, he'll report we are noisy and risk police come in.
6) when we are not cleaning hostel, he'll tell madam we are not dutiful and not good enough
7) when we are going outside on weekend, he'll tell we are going outside and no return for sleep
8) when we are not follow his instruction, he'll inform we are not obedient
9) when we are saying bad exp in work, he'll report we are trying to run away illegally
10) ...............etc........

Whenever he report, we were taken action by lady boss with fine or removing other hostel. Some people suffer being sent to site. Some people risk being transfered to a dirty and risk job from office. Some people would affect their salary not coming out in time. Someone's salary would be maintain by office. Oh my God, a lot of sticks is aroud us for any reports that was done by our fellow citizen. What a disappointing thing? But we live the life such a kind of people and we try to cope with that. No choice but hard working.

On the other hand, lady boss will priaise him for his loyalty and faithfulness. He has no mercy upon his fellow citizen workers. He don't care other business and only pay attention on his own profit. I don't know why he treat us like that. There are so many myanmr workers who want to kill him if they meet him on Myanmar. It's really happening to us and we suffer from that as a double burden upon company's bad policy on Myanmar workers. I don't know who is responsible for our troubles and finally blame myself for coming here. It's fair to blame myself because nobody forced me to go oversea to work. Anyway I have found a lot of people and probably I become a bit mature compare to a man of myself in Myanmar now.
